HOW TO USE:
Serve as a hot or cold steeped tea or sprinkled dry as a foraging treat or topper to wet food (*)
(*) wet food should always be discarded after 2 - 3 hours to avoid bacterial growth.
Use bleach free, compostable bags.
Seal in an airtight container in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Has sedative properties that can help alleviate insomnia, stress, and anxiety; This is useful for birds that chew or pluck their feathers. As well as serving as a tea, you can use cool chamomile tea in a spray bottle to mist the feathers.
Rich in antioxidants and has been recognized to help relieve stress and is a natural calmative. Tulsi also has been found to strengthen immunity and ward off bacterial and viral infections.
A great source of vitamin A, vitamin C and magnesium, all of which are essential for feathers and overall health.
Rose Hip & Rose Petal:
High in vitamin C and which helps maintain liver and kidney health. Helps to re- energise when fatigued and helps the body recover from illness.
Ginger provides potassium, magnesium, manganese, copper and vitamin B6.
It has superb digestive health properties, is great for settling birds with upset tums and for those that suffer with motion sickness. Also contains potent anti-inflammatory compounds called gingerols, substances are believed to reduce osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis pain and aid mobility if consumed regularly. Ginger extracts have also been found to have antioxidant properties and have an anti-tumour effect on cells.
